Mobility Awareness Month (and van voting!)

Don’t forget that May is National Mobility Month! As part of the Celebration The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association is hosting a Give-A-Way of THREE adaptive mini vans!! Kristin nominated the kids and I for a chance to win. Voting goes through May 13th and the kids and I need to be in the top 10% in order to move on to the second round. PLEASE take a minute to vote for us!

As you can imagine, winning this van would be truly life changing for us. My kids are my world and I am like any other mother, I want them to be happy – which means them participating in the things they love – like school, church, play dates,  trips to the store, therapeutic horseback riding and birthday parties! I do not want to leave them at home! These “outings” don’t seem like much trouble to most of you reading this but for me – it means getting Brooklyn into her chair, out to the car, transitioned into the car, getting her chair into the car – and doing that all again once we arrive! Oh….AND getting my little wiggle worm Boston carried in and loaded up! My 1999 Honda is what I rely on now and believe me, I am THANKFUL for that but oh man…..a new adaptive van – well….that. would. be. AWESOME!

Thank you.

Thank you to each of you who have been voting every day – we appreciate it more than you know!

(By the way…..we hit 25,000 votes – how COOL is that?!?!)

Kelly! For some reason I am super dense…but I just looked at this website and my boyfriend is the head electrical engineer at Freedom Mobily!
Can you drop me an email with your email? I would love to see what we can do at our end to help you out.
    Thanks!
