Today was a BIG day! Brooklyn sat all by herself in the middle of the floor three separate times today. This is the first time that Brooklyn has done this since her hip surgery – as you might imagine I am one super happy mommy tonight! Time and time again Brooklyn reminds me how tough she is. Rett Syndrome attacks and she fights back. I love her so much! We of course have a long way to go with rehab – our goal is longer time at sitting unassisted, including bath time, standing/bearing weight. and of course we would ultimately love to get her taking some steps! Walking is a long term goal of course but with this determined little girlie of mine it is in no way out of the question! Keep the prayers coming as we work hard each day!
