THE WIGGLES!!!!

We had an AMAZING time on Friday at the Wiggles concert!!
We also had an unexpected surprise….Thursday night I was chatting online with a friend of mine…who ended up hooking me up with a DIRECT contact to the Wiggles. LONG story short – three emails and a phone call later we were scheduled to be part of the MEET AND GREET before the concert (THANK YOU Ruth and Nancy!!)

Of course we were PUMPED to be going to the concert (and sitting in the FIFTH row) but meeting them was AWESOME! They were all so great with the kids. Each of the The Wiggles took time to speak to Brooklyn, I of course had her Purple Cards and gave on to Anthony – always looking for an opportunity to educated :)

Poor Boston was SO tired and not really into the whole thing but he made it through the meet and greet with minimal drama :) The concert was an entirely different story – Jon ended up sitting outside with him. Between nap time being messed up and lots of stimulation, it was all just too much for the little guy.

The concert was AMAZING – each of the Wiggles stopped to say hi to Brooklyn when they came down to the floor into the crowd, it was TOO COOL! Brooklyn was smiling the ENTIRE time and that made me one super happy mommy – to be honest I did not see much of the concert, I spent my time watching her. I love her so much and when her face lights up with that smile, my heart melts completely!We even got to see “the new Wiggles” perform a few songs – three of the original guys are retiring – the new group performed wearing “in training” shirts. They are pretty good actually! It still will not be the same but we liked them :)

We ended the night hanging out with The MacDonald family – which was AWESOME (thanks again to Scott for grilling out during the HUGE storm!) It is always GREAT to spend time with other Rett Syndrome families!
