Brooklyn’s “Sweet 16” picks

Thanks to one of my fellow Rett Syndrome mammas (Kristin Hileman) – we were inspired to get Brooklyn involved with all of this MARCH MADNESS! With Pappy’s help, we found all of the team logos and Grammy put them on index cards for her and we were ready to make her picks!

We decided to put two teams up at a time to let her make her choice. We knew this would be a fun activity for her to do with her college friends Lauren, Sarah, and Bre.

20130325-154925.jpgYes folks….she DID pick the HOOSIERS!

As Brookie (and the Trine girls) have heard me say before “…. Nicely Done ….” and I agree with all your picks, with one exception – I’m still pulling for Cindarella – Fla Gulf Coast :) THANKS again Ladies, Brookie loves when you visit!!

What a wonderful way to get Brooklyn involved in The March Madness fun!
I am the former teacher of Brynn Hileman (daughter of Kristen Hileman).

I feel inclusion is important for children with special needs. Family and community involvement is so imperative. You and the Hilemans are awesome! The dedication of Brooklyn’s college friends, grandparents, and parents is so valuable for her self esteem.

Your daughter is precious! Keep up the good work. By the way, I love Brooklyn’s choice. GO BUCKS!!!
